We’ve had a number of wonderful, super sweet Pyrs and Pyr mixes that have come into rescue recently.  We are still working on getting this page updated but are having technical issues.  If we cannot get our website updated shortly, we’ll link to an alternate Facebook page.  Thank you for your understanding.

In the meantime, here is a brief tidbit on only a few of our available dogs.

Cosmo – Blue eyed, male, Great Pyrenees / Anatolian mix approximately 2 years.  Cosmo hadn’t had much training or socialization so he is a little shy but he’s really come a long way.  He loves affection and has become a favorite or our volunteers who get to spend time with him.  He walks well on a leash, is good with female dogs, and has a terrific personality.   We believe he would do best in a quieter household.

Pilot – Handsome male Great Pyrenees / Anatolian mix, still a puppy at just under a year old.  Pilot was originally a working dog who will do better as a pet.  He is shy as he’s not had much socialization but with time, attention and love, he’s coming around and starting to trust people.  He’s doing better by approaching his caregivers for affection, and is doing well on walks.   Pilot is terrific with other dogs.

KODIAK – Kodiak was found by the police dragging a rusty chain, terribly malnourished, matted, infected skin and probably beaten but still he loves people and other dogs and is becoming the social butterfly of the kennel.

Zepher – 2 yr old beautiful, female Great Pyrenees / Anatolian mix.   She was a transfer from our partners at Oregon Humane Society, who felt she would do better finding a home with a Pyr experienced rescue. Zepher is super sweet, great with people and her care-givers absolutely love her.
